always been a hard worker. My father encouraged me to
pursue a degree in nursing; he knew I had the skills and
personality of an excellent nurse. So I started my
medical career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I
worked in home care and one of the local hospitals while
pursuing my Associate’s Degree in Nursing. After
graduating from nursing school in 2008, I continued
working for both companies as a registered nurse. In
2010, I moved to a new city and started a new job. Then,
in 2011, I began working on my Bachelor of Science in
Nursing, and completed the program in 2012. During this
time, I decided I wanted more “regular” work hours to
help alleviate some stress of work and school. I started
working for a hospice corporation, but then the hours
became very long. I was on-call nights, weekends, and
holidays which all made life very stressful. I then
pursued a job in a doctor’s office with consistent
scheduled hours and minimal overtime.
began researching completing a Master’s of Science in
Nursing and becoming a nurse practitioner. I quickly
learned it is impossible to both work and go to school.
What job will replace my income to achieve this goal?
That’s when I learned about We Are Changing Lives and
the manufacturer of safer and healthier products they
market for. I learned about the company, and knew this
is exactly what I needed! I am able to work when it fits
my schedule! I will have the freedom to achieve other
goals and dreams! I love what I do, and would love to
share this with you!
